LONDON · A MORE CONSIDERED STAY
The Resident Covent Garden: Which Room Should You Choose?
Choose King Room for twin-bed flexibility and more space than Standard Double Room; consider Junior Suite when a sofa matters to your stay.

Choose the bed first, then the floor space
Choose King Room if you need twin beds or want more floor space than Standard Double Room. At approximately 21 square metres, King Room offers a super king-size bed with a pocket-sprung mattress or two twin beds. Standard Double Room is approximately 17 square metres with one king bed. For a couple sharing a bed, the trade-off is the smaller footprint against additional room to use; travellers wanting separate beds have a concrete reason to choose King Room.
A work surface comes with the smaller categories
Standard Double Room has a dining/work table with USB and power points, while King Room has a desk with USB and power points. Either gives you a stated surface for laptop use. If your room time mainly involves sleeping and occasional work, these facilities make the smaller categories worth considering. Moving up from Standard Double Room to King Room adds space and bed flexibility; it is not necessary simply to obtain a place to work.
Superior King adds space and an additional-bed option
Superior King measures approximately 25 square metres and offers a super king-size bed or two twin beds, plus a dining/work table with USB and power points. Compared with King Room at approximately 21 square metres, its clearest benefit for a couple is more floor space. Choose it if spending time in the room makes that difference useful. Twin beds alone need not drive the upgrade, since King Room already offers them.
An additional single rollaway/pullout bed is listed for Superior King and Junior Suite, making both relevant when another bed is needed. That facility does not establish a maximum party size or permission for a child of any particular age.
Junior Suite provides a sofa and the largest footprint
Junior Suite is approximately 30 square metres, with a sofa, a dining/work table with USB and power points, and a super king-size bed or two twin beds. Its sofa gives a specific reason to choose it when sitting away from the bed matters. Compared with Superior King at approximately 25 square metres, it also provides more floor space. Treat the sofa as seating: these details do not establish a sofa bed or a separate bedroom.
Mini-kitchens cover storage, reheating and drinks
Standard Double Room, King Room, Superior King and Junior Suite each have a mini-kitchen with a fridge, microwave, kettle, BRITA filter tap and Nespresso coffee machine. Chilled food storage, reheating and hot drinks therefore do not require a larger category. These facilities should not be read as a promise of a hob or full kitchen. There is no onsite restaurant, so travellers who require one should choose a different property.
Check the sleeping arrangement before booking
Room details and conditions must be checked for your selected dates, including your requested bed configuration. For Superior King or Junior Suite, confirm any additional-bed arrangement, applicable child ages and maximum-party rules before relying on that option.
